Clarity Brings

My sisters best friend Emma Bailey was killed in a car accident last monday. Its the most tragic thing i've ever known, so if everyone who prays could pray for my sister that would be great.
Emma, along with my sister, was the biggest Oilers fan i've ever known. She became a fan of them back in the ninties when the oilers were horrible. this is equivalent to a flames fan who remembers a time before Jerome iginla, but doesn't remember them winning a cup. Its wierd because i can't remember a time when Emma and my sis weren't best friends (probably cause they've known each other since i was 5)

Thats Em with my sis.

And if you want to hear a couple knew tracks from moi (well, mostly van denberg) check us out at: myspace.com/targetinquestion

This ones for you

Clint and Jerry came to my work today. we reminicist about the ol days in rez. back when Jerry wasn't getting married (thats right, Jerry proposed to Jana yesturday, thats another friend getting married). so that was nice, i missed Jerry, but i miss alot of people.

I wish my friends would knock sense into more often. i wonder if i'd still mess up as much.

i also wonder if recording a breakup album is a good form of catharsis. actually, i hope i never find out.

from thursday night to saturday night i played diablo 2 with clint, living off of a steady diet of pizza beer and m&m's. then i went to boston pizza and had to talk to people. after not showering or changing clothes for 3 days the last thing you want to do is hang out with people. but i did.

sometimes i want to tie people to chairs and make them listen to london calling.

then again there are far too many times when the idea of lighting myself on fire seems like "an easy way"

driven to the point of insanity.
stepping across

now.

Since i'm a cheap drunk you'll have to share a toast

Like Mara said, things will never be the same again.

is it true that marriages happen in a clump? and that i won't have to put up with this for a while? I've got three wedding invitations (i can't make the one in ontario, i'm pretty sure josh only gave me an invitation so i'll buy him a thong as a wedding gift)
also i've realised that there are only two stages when one of your buddies gets engaged:
stage 1: he'll tell you "naw, i'll still hang out with the guys all the time!"
stage 2: you never see him again.

I've worked 20 days strait, so i haven't just hung out with my buddies in far far too long, and its taking its toll. i hate that feeling like your missing out on life.

and its gonna be like this until june 18ish, when i'll finally trek back to st. albert, visit my family (and my super awesome Godson). and a bunch of my friends, at least the ones who haven't forgotten me. (and i don't write that with anyone in mind, its just an honest general statement)

i miss Fred. crazy kid is going back to camp. i told him we should torch the camp at the end of the summer. or whatever is left of it. (i think burning things to the ground is such an awesome ending, its a blunt way of God showing how meaningless posessions are. that or that God is bad with matches)

My soul slides away
but don't look back in anger
i heard you say

All My Friends

theres tons of people at my school/work. there annoying. oh well, at least i'm just sitting at my laptop surfing the net. i'm awesome.

i'm currently listening to album number 82, sticky fingers by the rolling stones. (thats not its ranking, i'm simply going by number of albums i've listened to)
this follows:
astral weeks (van morrison)
born to run (bruce springsteen)
blood on the tracks (bob dylan)

so i'm thinking i'm gonna hold off my annual "skochs top 100 songs" just in case anything really pops out at me.

possibly going to see spiderman 3 at the imax. don't really care, i'm not super stoked to see it, it could be good.

transit could strike at any point now. which would screw me over. cause my jobs on the opposite side of the city from my house (and my other job for that matter) oh well, we'll see what happens.

I Wanna Rock Your Gypsy Soul

so i've decided i want to seriously dent the "500 greatest albums of all time" list. i'm at around 60, can'remember the specific number. which i think is pretty paltry considering how i pride myself on my musical knowledge.
This was spured on because colombia house finally sent me my cds. i pretty much picked cds i knew i had to have, but would feel stupid buying them from a cd store (cause i'm a loser like that)
1. Nirvana - Nevermind
2. Sex Pistols - Nevermind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols
3. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmos Factory
4. The Doors - The Doors
5. Van Morrison - Moondance
6. Neil Young - Harvest
7. The Eagles - Hotel California

So thats what i'll be doing at work this summer. listening to awesome music. go me.

Peace
