Love does rhyme with hideous car wreck

In case anyone was wondering (although i doubt it) i've been in vancouver for the past week.

It was a pretty crazy experience, i got to randomly start a conversation about Jesus with people. I got shot down more times then i can count. Its Crazy indeed.

We spent an afternoon on east hastings st., the most violent street in canada (keep in mind, its still in canada). It was absolutly nuts, pimps selling prostitutes at 3 in the afternoon, piles of needles laying around on the streets. A guy giving another guy a blowjob for heroin. What a wonderful place to be.

I have never seen so many cop cars in my entire life.

So it was a crazy emotional time for all of us who went (24 in total).

Hey, Lents coming up. i always hated lent. which is probably why i started my own lent yesturday. Why? cause i can. I used to always hate the idea of lent, thinking it was stupid, but i've come to realise that you can totally honour God through sacrifice, therefore i encourage everyone to actually give something up that they truly can live without. Some of my buddies are giving up flower (so its nothing but meat and potatoes for them, boo hoo).

On a final note, i've decided to come back to rocky again next year. Financially. wow. its gonna be fun. lots of fasting for me!!! so i could use tons of prayers. thankie.

So 364 days until valentine day. Thats just great. Fine by me. Love stinks anyway. Except for that good kind that doesn't end up hurting you. thats good stuff.

I watched First Blood today. Such a great movie.

On a none-manly note i watched Brokeback mountain. Bad idea, not because of the movie, the movie was fantastic, its all the Christians who made fun of me for watching it. Gotta love Christians.
Although i definitly took my glasses off for the gay sex scene. all i saw was a blur. and it still scar'd me.
That movie will be the big winner oscar night. not cause its gay, but cause its the most tragic movie i've scene in a long long time (and the academy loves anything tragic)

Also (because my sis said so) Canada only wins by 5 goals? what the freak? pick it up boys.
