With the eyes God gave me

Let me recap a conversation:

Morgan: I'm gonna watch Brothers Grimm, you wanna see it too?
Skoch: no way man, that movie was crap
Morgan: Yeah, but this is coming from someone who just watched good night and good luck

For the first time in a long time i was left speechless.

Moral of the story:

Good Night and Good Luck is an important movie to watch (thats right, important) because although it is set in the 1950's it is far more relevant today then it would have been back then.

It is the story of news team that actually has the balls to speak some truth on national tv. Its kind of a bit-the-hand-that-feeds-you story, if the hand happens to be a senator who is calling people communist with out any proof, spreading panic cause he has his own agenda.

The following is the speech ed murrow gives at the beginning of the movie (keep in mind this is a true story from the 1950's):
We are currently wealthy, fat, comfortable, and complacent. We have a built-in allergy to unpleasant or disturbing information. Our mass media reflect this. But unless we get up off our fat surpluses and recognize that television in the main is being used to distract, delude, amuse, and insulate us then television
and those who finance it those who look at it and those who work at it may see a totally different picture too late.

So i guess if you really want to go watch the brothers grimm, then go ahead.
