Crooked Rain Crooked Rain

Well, i stumbled across this 2004 re-release of an album i fell in love with about 3 months ago. I guess the best way to discribe this album is a much better, but obviously cheaper, weezer.

Cut your hair (that single that "almost" made them big), gold soundz, unfair, elevate me later, stop breathin' are all song which are easy to fall in love with, although ever song on this album is strong and worthy of a million listens.

Of course with re-issues comes a bunch of b-sides and alternative versions of songs. This one has 37. Thats a whole lotta music. and for only 24$ it was well worth it.

The best thing i learnt from this album though? i think it's best described by a Billy Corgan of the ex-Smashing Pumpkins

"No one wakes up humming a pavement song"

Oh well, if radio stations hated the beatles, would they still be considered the best band in the world?

I like to think so
